In 2016, Valencia founded V.L.C. House of Self-Help Publishing, LLC. Her most recent books, "Awaken & Rise, From the Physical to the Spiritual," her Earthshaking Tell-All Autobiography, "All By Myself," “Love for Her Sistas,” and “Inner Road to Healing,” are published on Amazon.  She has written several inspirational articles, "Problem Child Within Us" and "Defensive Walls", on self-help websites including E-Zine (www.ezine.com) and Self-Growth (www.self-growth.com). As an entrepreneur, in 2014 Valencia founded Ladies Inspired to Empower (L.I.T.E.). L.I.T.E. is a women's empowerment, non-profit organization that provides self-improvement workshops, facilitates classes to enhance professional skill sets, donations, and hosts fundraising events to support women and children in need.

In 2011, Valencia began her personal journey towards women empowerment. She started off volunteering her time and efforts at local non-profit organizations, which include: Women in Need Shelter (W.I.N.), Women’s Prison Association (W.P.A.), and Dress for Success (D.F.S.).
